Cookie Policy

What cookies and similar technologies this website uses — and what we do not use.

Summary

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights on this site for aggregated visit statistics and performance monitoring. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or advertising cookies.

Some third-party services loaded on certain pages may set their own cookies or use similar technologies when you visit those pages — mainly Google Maps on the contact page and Google Fonts loaded site-wide.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They can be set by the website you visit (first-party) or by another service embedded on the page (third-party).

First-party cookies on this site

The application does not set marketing cookies. Vercel Web Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar technologies for aggregated traffic measurement — see Vercel's analytics privacy documentation.

A UI component library in the codebase includes optional code to store sidebar open/closed state in a cookie named sidebar_state, but that component is not used on the public pages of this website, so this cookie should not be set during normal browsing.

The site may use short-lived browser storage for basic navigation behaviour (for example scroll position when moving between pages). This is functional rather than used for tracking or profiling.

Third-party cookies and similar technologies

Third-party services that may process data when you use the site:

  • Google Maps (embedded iframe) — on the contact page. Google may set cookies or collect usage data according to its own policies when the map loads or you interact with it.
  • Google Fonts — typography is loaded from Google's servers. Your browser sends a request that may include your IP address and referrer information.
  • Sanity CDN — images and content may be loaded from cdn.sanity.io. This is content delivery, not behavioural advertising.
  • Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights — privacy-focused traffic and performance metrics when the site is hosted on Vercel. See Vercel's privacy documentation.
  • Social media links — Facebook, Instagram, and WhatClinic icons link to external profiles; they are not embedded widgets and do not set cookies until you visit those platforms.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, PostHog, or similar advertising tools.

How to manage cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect how some parts of the site display, especially embedded maps.

For Google-specific controls, see Google's cookie information.
